This drawing was done for the sake of expirementation. It's is a SLOW progress for sure. Right now I have alot of duties such as taking care of my recently operated son and such. So I can't work on it as quickly as I would. But eh.
This was done after browsing through JD Hillberry's Book on Drawing Realistic Textures in Pencil. And well I was going to draw the gumball machine on its own when I thought about it, just seemed pretty boring all on its own just sitting there. So I browsed through some of my geography books (that just brings out highschool memories of a certain art teacher I had) and drew a tiger eye. It's almost finished and for being an experimental piece of different textures I am quite enjoying it. I just thought I'd post this. Probably finish it comletely tonight
This is just a work in progress. And experimental.
This is so hot! My one recommendation would be to edge the bottom of the gumball machine with stronger highlights so that it doesn't blend into the surface quite so much.
